After retiring with 28 years of service from the public utility sector, Koweba received her real estate license in 2006. She has been a resident of Granbury since 1996 and is a native Texan. Koweba was elected to serve as a Director for the Granbury Association of Realtors in 2017. She was also voted Rookie of the Year in 2007.
