My name is Kathy Cheek. I was raised in Arlington, Texas, and I have lived in Granbury, Texas, for 29 years. I am a proud single mom with twins, Cory and Carly that have just graduated college. One attended Abilene Christian University and is now a nurse at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth and the other one graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Sport’s Management degree and is getting ready to start Pilot School. Over the years I stayed very involved in my children’s school activities and they both played a lot of sports.
I have been in real estate since 2004 and am very active in our local realtor association better known as GAR (Granbury Association of Realtors). In 2018 I was honored to be named Volunteer of the Year, and in 2020 I was named the most dedicated Realtor® by the association. I work on many committees within our association and we give back to our community in many ways. I am on the board for Hood County Children’s Charity and I serve as the secretary. I am also a member of TAR,NAR, and TREC.
